EMED announces CE Mark and Canadian Medical Device License Approval

El Dorado Hills, May 1, 2012: EMED Technologies Corporation today announced the approval to market the company’s SCIg60 Infusion System in Europe and in Canada.

SCIg60–VersaRate™ Infusion System
The SCIg60 Infuser is a reusable constant pressure mechanical syringe pump controlled by a proprietary rate flow device. The VersaRateTM flow controller is a disposable device offering the clinician and patient a way to adjust the flow rate with an easy-to-use dial eliminating complications associated with having multiple rate sets with limited flow rates.

The EMED SCIg60 Infusion System consists of a proprietary mechanical syringe pump used with a patent pending variable rate control device VersaRate™ and its market leading family of Soft-Glide™ SCIg Infusion Sets used to administer subcutaneous immunoglobulin in treating patients with Primary Immune Deficiency Disease.
